I fully flushed out a lot of details about the characters that helped me get to know them but didn’t make it to the book.  For example, Ben’s family life in Russia.  Isidor’s background, including his early college relationship with Sir William.  I also wrote a chapter about the first time Sir William, who was then with SIS, teamed with Isidor to work together against the rising Nazi Party – which Sir William knew was backed by powerful banking and corporate interests from London and Wall Street and therefore a credible threat even though it might not have appeared that way to others.
